Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has excellent chemical stability, can resist all strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidants, and does not react with various organic solvents. PTFE can be used in the temperature range of - 180 ℃ ~ 250 ℃ for a long time under atmospheric pressure, and its mechanical properties change little after being treated at 250 ℃ for 1000h. PTFE has a very low friction coefficient, is a good friction reducing, self-lubricating material, its static friction coefficient is less than the dynamic friction coefficient, so it has the advantages of small starting resistance and smooth operation.
PTFE Pipes are respectively equipped with Teflon capillary, Teflon sleeve, Teflon push pipe, Teflon molded pipe, Teflon corrugated hose, etc. It is also widely used.
What are the applications of polytetrafluoroethylene in engineering? Many people who first contact with this field don't know the content of this field, and think that tetrafluorocarbon tube can't play a role in the project. This kind of cognition is wrong.
1. All prefabrication work shall be carried out at the bridge head and pushed up to the bridge position one by one, without heavy lifting and long-distance transportation;
2. there is no need to set scaffold in the bridge hole to avoid the influence of water flow and traffic to the bridge; only when the span of the multi hole bridge is more than 60 meters, temporary steel pier must be added. Only large tunnels span rivers or valleys. Although the span is 100 or tens of meters, temporary wharves cannot be set up in large tunnels;
3. The friction coefficient of polytetrafluoroethylene pipe is very small, so the bridge weighing 10000 tons only needs hundreds of tons of thrust. Therefore, the thrust equipment is relatively simple, although there is loss, but the total construction cost is very low;
4. The construction period is generally not affected by flood, drift ice and other seasons, and the construction progress is easy to master. The overall progress can also be determined by the small prefabrication site at the bridgehead. For a long period, the construction progress can be greatly accelerated.
